To say that Bluesman Tom Malafarina has got a handle on THE BLUES is an understatement if ever there was one.
Tom never wanted to be one of those musicians who sit and write songs day in and day out with no substance. Starting at the age of 12 playing guitar Tom knew that music would remain a part of his life forever. He also knew that the partial tunes, licks and lyrics going through his mind constantly would eventually become complete songs.
Regarding blues songwriting, he once was heard to ask "How can someone write about living who hasn't lived? Tom has chosen to spend his life LIVING and the past thirty-five years playing music.
And after living he has something to say - amd he is saying it. He has come written some of the most memorable blues tunes you may everhere.
He's got just the right amount of soul and gut-wrenching sorrow that traditional Blues needs to make it work, combined with a home-grown sense of humor that makes it all a lot of fun.
