Tom Malafarina (Bass and
vocals) was born in Ashland,
Pennsylvania and lives in
Wernersville. He has been playing
guitar since the age of twelve and
bass since the age of 19. Tom is a
prolific song writer and many of
his original tunes are getting
airplay world wide on both
traditional as well as college and
internet radio programs as well as
podcasts.
Tom also performs occasionally
as a solo act. His reason for
founding Blues City was to play
blues with the guitar, bass and
drums power trio format.
Tom's main bass is a Fender
precision delux.

Bill Melcher (Drums) was born
and raised in Reading, PA and
lived on Center Avenue till the
ripe old age of five. Then his
family moved to North East
Reading to try to get away from
all the grime, crime and doin'
time. Bill lives outside of
Fleetwood.
Bill always had a "beat" going in
his head. And no matter how he
tried to ignore it, the beats
eventually got too loud. It wasn't
until later in life that he realized
that all he needed was an outlet
for those beats... the drums!
Bill brand of choice is a classic
Mapex Orion kit decked out with
Evans heads and Paiste cymbals.
Pro Mark or Vic Firth sticks.
